1. Log in to the dashboard
Go to /dashboard on your site (for example https://yourdomain.com/dashboard) and sign in with the admin email you entered during Installation and the temporary password shown once on the install success screen. You'll be prompted to set a real password on first login — do that before anything else.
The dashboard sidebar is organized into groups: Content, Manage, Design, Develop, and Settings, plus entries for any optional features you enable later. The View Website link at the bottom opens your live site at any time.
2. Set your branding
Head to Design → Branding to make the site look like yours:
- Colors — pick your primary and secondary brand colors and a neutral tone. WebProCMS generates a full palette of shades from each color and applies it across every page, button, and design element automatically. See Branding Color System for how the palette works.
- Logo and favicon — upload your logo and site icon.
While you're in the Design group, also look at:
- Theme — switch design variants of your theme for a different overall look. See Themes.
- Sections, Components, and the button styles — control spacing density, cards, and button appearance site-wide so you never style them page by page.
- Header & Footer — choose and customize your site's header and footer layout.
3. Review your pages
Open Content → Pages to see every page on the site. A fresh install starts with a core set — home, about, contact, privacy, terms, and a few others — created from your theme.
Click any page to open it in the page editor. Pages are built from rows (a hero, a feature grid, a call-to-action band, and so on). You can edit the text and images of any row, restyle it, reorder rows, or add new ones from the design library. The Page Editor Tour walks through the editor in detail.
If you seeded demo content during installation, you'll also see sample blog posts, events, or other records — useful for seeing how listing and detail pages behave with real-looking data. You can remove all of it later; see Seeding Demo Data.
4. Set up your navigation
Go to Manage → Menus to control the links in your site's header and footer. Add your pages, arrange the order, and nest items to create dropdowns. If you ticked "Navigation menu items" during install, a sample menu is already in place to adapt.
5. Add images to the Media Library
Everything visual flows through Content → Media Library — upload your photos and graphics there once, then pick them anywhere an image is needed (pages, blog posts, locations). Alt text and captions are managed centrally on each image. See Media Library.
6. Add users
Under Manage → Users, create accounts for anyone else who'll work on the site, each with an appropriate role so editors can edit content without access to settings.
7. Check the basics in Settings
A quick pass through Settings:
- General — site name, languages, and general behavior.
- Business — your organization's contact details, used across the site.
- Features — toggle optional capabilities (CRM, marketing, e-commerce, events, and more) on or off.
- Privacy — cookie consent and privacy options.
Also review your SEO settings as you publish — every page has its own meta title and description controls in the page editor.
