• Settings reorganized: General had grown to hold five unrelated things and now keeps only the visitor-facing ones — dark mode, accessibility, spam protection, coming soon and maintenance — on a single row of tabs instead of two.

• Search results are no longer pushed down the list just because a product hasn't been added to the smart-search index yet, which could scramble rankings while the index was still building.
• The Search settings page now tells you whether the smart-search index has caught up, instead of only showing how many passages it holds.

• The store header's search suggestions now lead with the products that match every word you typed, so a run-together product name or a plain-word search surfaces the right product first instead of a loosely related one.

• Shop search now understands the words shoppers actually type: run-together product names ("pro comfort max" finds ProComfortMax), part numbers with or without dashes, category names, and product option and spec values all match.
• A searched shop grid is ranked by Best match (name hits first), with the store's normal sort restored the moment the search box is cleared.

• Fixed: very small images (under 100px wide, e.g. thumbnails imported from an old store) showed as broken in product grids and galleries in modern browsers; they now display the original file.
• Pages built before 1.4.31 whose list or shop layout includes a search box are repaired automatically on update, so the box's placeholder text and styling from the layout apply again.
• Fixed: a gallery layout's lightbox setting is now honored as the default for that gallery.

• Fixed: the search box in the shop layouts (and the list layouts that include one) ignored the placeholder text and styling set in the layout, always showing a plain "Search…" — the sidebar shop layout now reads "Search within these results…" as intended.

• Sidebar shop layout: sub-categories now open directly beneath their parent category in the list, and the column scrolls with the page instead of inside a clipped box, so the selected category and its sub-categories are always in view on a large catalog.
• The shop's in-page search box now says "Search within these results…" to make clear it filters the current results rather than searching the whole site.

• Shop category filters now browse a nested catalog level by level: pick a top-level category and a second row of its sub-categories appears (and so on), each pill counting its whole subtree, while categories with no products no longer show a pill.
• Fixed: a link to a sub-category (for example from the navigation or an old-site redirect) showed the whole catalog instead of that category's products.
• The Sidebar Filters shop layout is now the store default for new shops and lists categories as an indented tree in a sticky left column; on phones the filters fold behind a Filters button so products stay above the fold. Existing shops keep their current layout — switch under Shop → Settings.
• Price ranges, tags, and product attributes in the sidebar shop layout are now checkboxes, so shoppers can combine several at once (for example two price ranges); each price range shows how many products it holds.

• WooCommerce sync: a long import can no longer be joined by a second scheduled runner (it now holds the pass via a heartbeat), customers are imported before orders, and every order is linked to its customer's member account — including orders imported earlier or placed as a guest with the same email.

• Shop fixes for large, nested catalogs: the category filter bar now shows only top-level categories (each count includes its sub-categories) instead of every category, and the storefront cache is cleared automatically when a WooCommerce import pass finishes so new products appear right away.

• Shop → Settings has a new WooCommerce tab: connect an existing WooCommerce store and import its categories, products (with variations and images), orders, and customers — then keep them in sync automatically while you build. Product categories can now be nested under a parent, and filtering the shop by a parent category includes its sub-categories.

• The floating accessibility button is now OFF by default and no longer appears on your site unless you switch it on at Settings → General → Accessibility Widget. If you had already turned it on there, it stays on.
• It helps individual visitors read a page, but it does not change your accessibility score — so it is now something you enable where a client wants it, rather than something every site shows.
• You can still preview it on any page while signed in by adding ?a11y=contrast to the URL, even with the button switched off.

• Settings → General → Accessibility Widget now shows you how to preview the accessibility settings on any page — add ?a11y=contrast to the URL (also ?a11y=all, ?a11y=text-xl, or a combination). It affects that one page view and changes nothing for your visitors.

• You can now preview the accessibility button's settings on any page by adding ?a11y=contrast to the URL — also ?a11y=all, ?a11y=text-xl, or a combination like ?a11y=contrast,links. It applies to that one page view only and never changes what your visitors see.
• High contrast now double-checks each colour it picks, so a correction can't land a fraction under the target it was aiming for.
• Fixed a Spanish translation that was showing an untranslated value.

• New: a floating accessibility button on your public site, on by default in the bottom-left corner.
• Visitors can enlarge the text, raise the contrast, underline links, switch to a plain readable font, and pause animations — and their choices are remembered the next time they visit.

• CRM Settings has a new Modules tab: switch Deals, Companies and Tasks off if your business doesn't use them, and they disappear from the menu, the contact page and the reports. Nothing is deleted — turn one back on and every record is still there. All three stay on unless you change them.
• Marking a form submission as spam now offers to remove the CRM contact it created.

• Marking a form submission "Not spam" now also withdraws it from the shared spam-intelligence feed. Previously a mistaken spam flag stayed in the shared corpus permanently, even after you corrected it on your own site.
• Site health now warns when a visitor-country spam filter is switched on but no country is being detected — the filter looks active on the settings page while quietly letting every submission through. Running geo:install fixes it.
• The contact-form spam filter recognises two more property-enquiry templates aimed at real-estate agents.

• Job application forms no longer add applicants to your CRM contacts — job seekers were filling the contacts list alongside real leads. Existing employment forms are switched over for you, applications and notifications are unaffected, and the toggle is still on the form if you want applicants in your CRM.
• The contact-form spam filter now catches three more cold-outreach families that were reaching the inbox as apparent leads: "free SEO audit" pitches, virtual-assistant outsourcing offers, and templated "I've prepared a proposal for you" messages.
• Spam phrase matching now handles the curly quotes and dashes that come with text pasted from a word processor, which previously let some of those templates through untouched.
• Fleet monitoring now tells you when a down install comes back up, including how long it was down.

• Fixed: on a non-default language, the header cart icon opened the full cart page instead of sliding the cart drawer open. It now opens the drawer in the visitor's language, the same as on your default language.

• Updating now reliably clears your site's page cache. A queued cache-clear could be thrown away before it was ever delivered, which left visitors on a cached page loading files the update had replaced — quietly breaking menus, accordions and site search until the cache expired on its own.
• The update's own check that the cache was cleared no longer reports success when it wasn't. It compared only the stylesheet, so an update that changed just the site's JavaScript always looked fine, and a missing cache-clear on a cached site is now reported as a failure instead of being mistaken for "this site has no cache".

• Site search now shows results as you type again, everywhere on your site. The search box that opens from the header search icon (or Cmd+K / Ctrl+K) had stopped listing anything while you typed for visitors who weren't signed in — use the arrow keys to move through results and Enter to open one.

• The search icon in your site header now opens the search box for visitors. On most pages it was doing nothing at all — and because it kept working while you were signed in to the dashboard, the broken version was only ever visible to your visitors.
• Structured data now uses the field you actually named: a specific field such as "job title" no longer loses out to a more general one listed above it.

• New translation glossary at AI → Knowledge: pin terms that must always be translated a certain way, or that must never be translated at all (brand and product names). Translations that ignore a pinned term are rejected and retried.

• Internal: retired the old git-based update method. Every site already installed updates the same way (download a verified package), so this removes an unused second path — nothing changes about how your site updates.

• Improved: the update progress card now reads its progress from a small status file instead of asking the site itself, so it keeps showing accurate progress while the update swaps files — and reloads on its own when the update finishes.

• Fixed: applying a CMS update no longer shows the admin an error popup part-way through. The update itself was always completing normally — the progress card checks in every few seconds, and those check-ins could fail harmlessly while files were being swapped.

• Fixed: on the dark header designs, the header's main call-to-action button was painted a shade darker than your Branding primary color, so it didn't match the other buttons on the page. • Fixed: on Design > Branding > Colors, each gray scale card could only be picked once per page load — going back to a scale you had already selected did nothing.

• SEO: local business items now publish their map coordinates, and the reviews markup reports your actual business type instead of a generic one.
• Content: an embedded record can now quote details from the record it is shown on.

• Location and business pages can now declare a specific schema.org type — Medical Clinic, Dentist, Real Estate Agent, Restaurant, Automotive Business, Home & Construction, Legal Service or Professional Service — instead of only the generic Local Business, so search engines get a more precise description of what your business is. Set it per content type under Content Types.
• The site-wide Schema type on Settings → SEO offers the same list, so the markup for your site as a whole can match your industry too.

• FAQ accordions you wrote by hand can now describe themselves to search engines. Open any accordion in the page editor's design panel and switch on "FAQ markup for search engines" to make its questions eligible for FAQ rich results. It is off by default, because not every accordion is a set of FAQs — accordions added from the FAQ row designs have it on already.

• FAQ sections now describe themselves to search engines. Any FAQ accordion built from your FAQs content type — on a location page, a service page, anywhere — emits FAQPage structured data, making those questions eligible for FAQ rich results. It applies to pages you have already built, with nothing to re-add or re-insert.

• CMS updates are now much smaller to download. The bundled PHP libraries ship as their own separate file and are only fetched when they actually change, so a routine update pulls roughly 10 MB instead of 41 MB.
• Search engines now see the correct schema.org type for each of your content types. Previously anything without an explicit type was labelled a news article — an FAQ, a staff bio, a customer review and a job posting all claimed to be articles. Types that declare no schema now emit nothing at all, and the selectable catalogue grows from 6 to 13 (Blog Post, Service, Job Posting, Person, Review, Question and Creative Work join the existing ones). Check Content Types → Settings to pick the right type for each of yours.

Previously it stored a one-off copy of the gray that could sit two shades away from the one shown on the card.

• Fixed a fault that left a brand-new installation's Home, About, Contact, Privacy Policy, Terms and 404 pages unable to load. Sites that reached this version by updating were never affected.

• Fixed off-site backups sent to an agency-operated fleet server. The site was sending the wrong credential, so every backup upload was rejected — silently, while the destination showed as active. Backups now reach the fleet server as intended.

• Fixes the hero slider. Any slide using an image uploaded to your media library caused the row to error out, so pages built with it would not load. External image URLs were unaffected. If you avoided that row because it broke, it works now.
• Smart Search now uses the Meilisearch server you set up in Settings → Search. The address and master key saved there were previously only used when pushing synonyms — search and indexing always went to the default local address instead. If you run Smart Search against a hosted or remote server, re-check that page and rebuild the index.
• Content type field names are now checked when you save a type. Names containing quotes, backslashes or "->" are rejected, because those characters interfere with the queries that read the field. Existing field names are unaffected.

• Large uploads no longer depend on your host's PHP limits. Importing a theme, installing a website-specific feature, and adding a video to the Media Library now send the file in small pieces, so a big theme or a phone video that used to fail — often with no error at all — goes through. Videos have no practical size limit now, and their poster frame is created automatically.
• Backup snapshots are locked down. The database copy inside each snapshot was readable by other accounts on shared hosting; it is now readable only by your site.
• New setting: Advanced → Proxies. If your site sits behind Cloudflare or another CDN, you can now tell the CMS so from the dashboard. Without it, visitor IP addresses all look identical (so rate limits apply site-wide) and secure-connection detection can read as off. The page tells you when it detects a CDN it is not yet trusting.

• Your site now enforces a security policy on JavaScript: browsers will run only the scripts your site actually ships or that you added yourself, so a script slipped in through a form or a comment field cannot execute.
• Log files are also bounded and pruned automatically now, so they can no longer quietly fill your disk.

• Fixed an update failure: the database step of a CMS update now runs in a fresh process, so it can no longer fail on leftover code from the version it is replacing.
• Updates are smaller and no longer carry internal development files. Any that earlier releases left on your site are removed during this update.

• Location Map - Place Card: the floating details card is now more compact, so it covers less of the map behind it — a smaller heading, tighter spacing and a slightly narrower card, with longer location names now fitting on one line instead of wrapping. Newly added rows pick this up automatically; a row already placed on a page keeps its current look until you adjust it.

• Four new map designs for location detail pages: a full-bleed map with a floating details card, a side-by-side map and details panel, a map with an info bar along the bottom, and a contained map with a compact corner card. Each pins the map on the location being viewed and shows its address, hours, and phone with a Get Directions link.

• Turns on Content-Security-Policy reporting for scripts, in report-only mode. Nothing is blocked — the browser simply reports anything that would be blocked, so any third-party script a site relies on can be identified before the policy is ever enforced. Site owners should see no change.

• Fixes a page editor bug where undoing past a save could report "saved" without actually storing the reverted values — re-editing the field was the workaround.
• Repairs three row-editor buttons that could fail to respond when clicked.

• Saving content now reliably clears the cached copy of every page it affects. A single page that happened not to be cached — often the sitemap — would silently cancel the rest of the clear, leaving listing pages, item pages, and any page pulling in that content serving the old version until something else cleared the whole cache.
• Multilingual sites get a large speed-up: translated pages (/es/…, /fr/…) are now served from the page cache and load their content the same fast way every other page does. Until now they were the only public pages rebuilt from scratch on every single visit.
• The donation, booking, and shop pages installed with your theme now render through the leaner serving path the rest of your pages moved to in the previous update.
• The health check that runs after an update is more reliable.

• Content pages now render through a leaner serving path that trims framework scaffolding from your page HTML — existing pages are converted automatically during this update, and anything the converter can't verify is left exactly as it was. Page editing, settings, drafts, and redirects all behave the same as before, and category archive pages on blog-style listings now pick up future fixes automatically.

• File attachments on content items (agendas, minutes, reports) now live outside the web root and are served through a signed link instead of a public URL. Existing attachment links are updated for you when the update runs, and the files are included in your backups from now on.
• Security hardening: outbound requests made on your site's behalf are held to the address they were checked against.

• Sites behind a CDN or proxy now see their real visitor addresses again.

• Your website can now send email. The old default quietly wrote messages to a log file instead of delivering them, so password resets and form notifications never arrived and nothing ever reported an error. There is now a Settings → Email page where you choose how mail is sent and send yourself a test message, and Tools warns you if your site cannot deliver. If your site was in that silent state, it will start actually sending email after this update.
• Email addresses are now confirmed. New accounts verify their address before they can sign in, and every existing account was marked verified automatically, so nobody is locked out. Members see a confirmation page in your site's own design, and you can mark an address verified by hand from the Users page.
• Account hardening: the member sign-in form now asks for two-factor codes and applies the same brute-force protection as the dashboard.
• The payment return link after checkout is single-use and tied to the browser that started it.
• Cached pages no longer carry one visitor's cookies or cookie-consent region over to the next.
• Changing or resetting a password now ends "remember me" sessions on other devices.

• Security and reliability fixes to the installer and updater. Sites installed into a single folder (shared hosting) now correctly protect their configuration and application files from the web, and receive updates properly. Downloaded builds are signature-verified before they are installed.

• Security: every credential saved in the dashboard — API keys, client secrets, webhook signing secrets and access tokens — is now write-only. A stored secret is never sent back to your browser: the field shows whether one is saved, leaving it blank keeps the existing value, and a separate Remove action clears it.
• OAuth client secrets held inside integration settings are now encrypted at rest.

• Security release — recommended for every site. Permission checks that previously ran only when a dashboard page first loaded now run again on every action, so a staff member's role, enabled features and account limits are enforced on the request that actually makes the change.

• Affiliate report CSV downloads are now safe to open in Excel, Google Sheets and LibreOffice — text fields beginning with a formula character are neutralised.
• Pausing updates across a managed fleet now requires genuine health reports from several registered installs, so a single account can no longer hold up updates for everyone.

• Faster photo loading. The background job that pre-sizes your images could stall on sites with large photo libraries, leaving visitors to wait while each image was resized on the fly. It now works in time-bounded batches and picks up where it left off, so images stay pre-sized and load instantly.
• Page builder: renaming an item inside a repeating row no longer breaks the row's data — previously a rename could leave the row showing nothing, and turning its repeat option off would silently do nothing.
• Duplicating a theme now copies its rows more precisely and no longer risks rewriting text inside your content while renaming the copy.

• Internal cleanup to how public pages are served: the page-source tidying added in the last release now happens in a single pass as a page is cached, instead of running twice. No visible change — pages look and behave exactly as before.
• Fixed the "Skip these pages" box on Settings → Caching so a single "/" line correctly skips the home page.

• Public pages now serve the same clean HTML source to everyone, including signed-in staff — previously only cached views were cleaned, so viewing source while logged in still showed the page framework's internal comment markers. A new "Skip these pages" box on Settings → Caching turns the cleanup off for an individual page if one ever needs it.

• Faster image loading. Your site now pre-generates the resized WebP/AVIF versions of every page image in the background, instead of making the first visitor wait while they're created. Real estate listing photos are prepared the same way right after an import. Tools gains an Image Cache card showing how much space the generated images use, with a button to clear and rebuild them.
• Cleaner cached page source. Public pages no longer ship the hidden bookkeeping comments used by interactive components, so cached pages are smaller and quicker to download. Interactive parts of the page are untouched. Toggle it under Settings > Caching ("Clean page source").

• Fixed the media library's per-image Quality control so it also applies to AVIF images. Previously the override only affected the WebP versions, so on the modern browsers that receive AVIF the setting had no visible effect on the delivered image.
• Added the Optimization controls (Convert to WebP/AVIF and Quality) to videos that have a poster image, so you can now set the delivery quality of the poster frame — the image a background-video hero actually loads first.

• Forms can now text you when a lead comes in, alongside or instead of the email notification — set a number per form, and it works on live submits, paid submissions, and the API.
• Reviews adds a bulk import: upload a customer list and queue review requests for everyone in it, instead of adding people one at a time.
• Photos now serve in AVIF to browsers that support it, which is noticeably smaller than WebP on the same image — a real hero dropped 43% at full width. AVIF is encoded at 10-bit so smooth gradients and skies stay clean instead of banding, and it now covers the largest size in the set rather than stopping one step short. Sites on older image libraries keep serving WebP exactly as before.
• Fixed: review CSV import modals printed the same error twice.

• Improved page load speed: hero images and section background images now start loading immediately instead of being discovered late in the page, reducing wait time on mobile connections.

• The overlay locations locator gains a "Closest to me" button beside its list title: one tap finds the visitor's nearest location, flies the map to it, opens its details and scrolls the list to it. It only appears on secure (https) sites, where a browser will actually share location.
• Fixed the lettered pins in the page editor — the A, B, C badges were appearing on the map pins but not on the matching list entries while editing.
• In the webhooks settings, the event picker is now grouped into a labelled catalogue instead of one long list.

• The Directory can now charge for listings. Set a price for a listing, for featured placement, or both, and public submissions are held until they're paid for. Every address field has an optional latitude and longitude under "Set the map pin manually", for addresses a map service simply cannot find — a highway frontage road, a suite in a plaza, a town it files under its larger neighbour. • Fixes a related content-loss bug (companion to 1.0.31): the same daily maintenance task could also delete the background image and settings on shared page-title and call-to-action banners — the rows that repeat across multiple pages — because they are referenced by a slug attribute rather than the usual markers. The banners kept rendering from cache, so the loss only showed as blank fields in the page editor. Now fixed.
• If banner backgrounds show blank in the editor on an affected site, run `php artisan content-overrides:restore-from-sidecar --apply` once (before re-saving those pages) to rebuild them from the cached copy.

• Real Estate: fixes a 500 error when saving an MLS feed after re-entering its credentials on a site whose encryption key changed (server move / DB restore). You can now open the feed, type the token, and Save successfully — the new credentials are stored under the current key and the feed reconnects.

• Real Estate: fixes a 500 error when editing an MLS feed whose saved credentials couldn't be read (which happens after a site is moved to a new server or its encryption key changes). The edit screen now opens normally and shows a notice asking you to re-enter the feed's credentials to reconnect it.

• Updates: fixes a harmless "class not found" error that could briefly appear while a CMS update was being applied from the Tools page. The update always completed; this just stops the transient error from being logged (and from flashing on the update screen).

• Spam protection: contact forms no longer silently quarantine every submission when the site's default protection resolves to Shield — Shield's JavaScript now loads correctly.
• Real estate: MLS feeds keep working after a server or domain move instead of erroring on their saved credentials.

• Backups now include your site's header and footer templates (plus any custom themes and theme instances). Restoring a backup onto another install now brings the full design across — previously these files were left out, so a restored site could come up missing its header and footer. Take a fresh backup after updating to capture them.

• Media library now accepts PDF uploads. In the page builder, any link or button field can point at a PDF from your library as a download link — pick it with the new "Choose PDF from media library" option.
